Check this Google Chrome browser extension to access online archive of the most common geophysical research journals.

JournArch is a search tool dedicated to Geophysical Fluid Dynamics (GFD). Knowing an author, a journal and a date range, JournArch is your simple search tool to retrieve the corresponding article and precise reference. JournArch is your simple gateway to more than 60 journals from the AMS, AGU and EGU among main publishers on GFD. 

The JournArch extension adds a toolbar button which pops up a reference search tool. It only requires an author's name, a date range and you to select a journal's name, then simply click the "Find ref" button ! 

Note that the JournArch extension requires to access "Your browsing history" because it uses the tab method to manage the options panel (yes you can save your favorite journal !) and open the specific search page result, nothing else ! 

The list of searchable journals is not exhaustive at this point, if you'd like to see more journals available please leave a message on the webstore.

This new version is a simpler but more powerful search engine compared to previous versions. With this engine, you enter a name, a year (or a range of years) and select a journal, then the search engine gives you the archive entries matching your criteria.

The 3rd version is a xml file you can use as a Google Gadget.
